Where can you buy bus models from?

Post by TV600_Denning »

I'm bidding on a trux Denning on ebay which I plan to strip down and repaint in Rover Motors colours, but i'd like to build up a fleet.

I'm interested in finding 1:76 model buses and coaches, similar to those that Rovers used in the 1980's and 90's.

I'd particularly like to buy a MAN, (Rover's TV600, That thing was blindingly fast!), Leyland Tigers (Ex Peninsula buslines, sold to Rovers) and some Mercedes buses, as well as Atlantean deckers, AEC's, Leyland Leopards, etc.

Can anyone help me with a fleet list of Rover's buses from the 90's, as well as suppliers of model buses?

Cheers, great site, i've found some brilliant photos here.

Thanks Paul, I used to travel on No20 to school. I remember it had the most comfortable seats out of all the school buses!

We normally got No2 AEC in the morning, as Jack Lewis used to drive us, he loved No2.
