Bringing a bus model on a plane

Postby BanksfielderIdiot823 » Sun Nov 17, 2019 10:07 pm

I can find stuff-all for answers around the web, so I'll just bring the question here.

Bus models such as those from OzBus Models/Transit Graphics (the Volgren Optimus decker 9900A-9900C models and single deck (12000, 13000, 14000, etc.). If I or someone was to take something like those onto a flight; say a Melbourne to Sydney flight on an A320, would such bus models in question emerge unscathed or would cabin pressure just destroy it? At the moment I'm a little bit reluctant at taking my favourite bus models on the plane at the moment because I'm worried that it might break apart during the flight after having a bag of Doritos inflate last time.

Does cabin pressure destroy you when you fly?

I think it would be safer to leave them at home. Maybe catch a train or bus to get to Sydney if you need to bring them.

No, I'm fine. I can't really speak for my bottle of Mount Franklin water though...

Yeah, I was just wondering because I don't wanna run the risk of any of it getting destroyed, obviously on a carry-on instead of a checked bag. Maybe it is safer on the Hume or ditching them at home. Thanks anyway.
