I've recently bought an ex-STA Mercedes 0405 Mk5 and need a Workshop Manual as part of the accreditation process to turn it into a charter bus.
Can anyone help me source a copy of the workshop / service manual or advise what is needed for Transport NSW accreditation purposes ?
Thanks,
Sam H

Good evening Sam.What you need to do is to establish what your maintainence plan is for your buses. The simplest way is to follow the manufacturers recommended service programme,,or you can develop your own.You need to document what your plan is-and then document what maintainence is undertaken according to your plan.TFNSW give a leeway of 1,000 kms more than scheduled. Most manufacturers recommended programmes give service intervals of 5,000 or 10,000kms.As you request a service manual will give you all the required info.
Best of luck with your charter business.
Are you a relation to the Hawkins bus business that operated the Somersby services in the 60s and 70s ??
Cheers-
