Westside

Post by James00 »

Just noticed a couple of things lately...The following now have WBC plates..

9 - 026MYZ now 09WBC
10 - 025MYZ now 10WBC
23 - 023MYZ now 23WBC

Presumably 24 - 024MYZ is now 24WBC but I have not spotted this one yet.

Also, 22 (22WBC) has been working westside routes lately, so I assume it has been transferred back from Park Ridge to Westside. This is the only one of the Volgrens that I have seen come back so far.

Thanks, the Westside Volgren's should be all back at Westside now because PRT just got 5 new Scania K230UB's with NCBC-Gemilang bodywork.

They appear to be used regularly on the P546 in lieu of the Volgrens, if anybody wants to get piccies without having to travel too far.

85 now has AOA for seasons (retirement village?). Apart from the translink front, the rest of the bus is purple, windows and all.

Have twice spotted what appears to be a new bus for westside. It is a volgren in full translink with the new rear design that the latest bt buses have. That is no rear window which rules out all their current volgrens (69 & 70 have no rear window but are of the older styled). It also has westside above the drivers window. Have not managed to see the rego however.

Westside had 3 or so Volvo B7RLE's down in build at Volgren, so that'd be them! :)

Spotted 3 of the new volgrens this morning doing charters along with 41 83 19 and 20(?). The 3 new buses are in delivery plates and not the wbc regos yet. So you not sure of fleet number as yet.

Now the question remains is (29) still around (the last 1316) and what are (92) and (93)?

92 is 92WBC, a NCBC Gemilang. Appears to be a full length bus as apposed to the shorter 05 & 06.

Edit: It's a Scania.
