This is due to the fitting of fire suppression systems, which is being undertaken at Kingsgrove depot.

Received a note in the mail yesterday from the RMS that there will be roadside tree trimming and tree removal along the m92 route to accomodate double decker buses. Work will take place between 21/5/17 to 3/9/17.

I think there has been a previous post that they will at least be used on the M92 as that was prepared for such buses.

On Mondays and Tuesdays this year I am picking up a granddaughter in East Parade, Sutherland about 2.45 pm after school hence I have posted a number of photos of Metrobuses at that location, mainly South Granville ones, this year.
I have been told that as from next week that particular M92 shift will be worked by one of the double deckers. But I will be in Adelaide next week so I guess I will have to wait until the next week to possible get a photo of one or two of them.

6955 is a new Volvo B8R/Bustech VST listed in the fleetlist as being at Bankstown. Today it was used for publicity for the SL Eppping - Chatswood replacement services starting on 1st December complete with PINK front and SL destos.

I can not see this bus sitting around for 6 months before being put into use. I guess it will be used from Bankstown for normal services and may not even be one of the buses eventually to be used for these SL services.

The fleet listing was already updated for this, but I've just seen 1996 on the 907 in Bankstown tonight, the registration has changed to m/o 6295 and as such, it's number is now 6295.

Sounds too much like a Bustech number. :x

Okay, so I've made a post earlier in the month on the private operations thread about getting a glimpse of 2006 on the M90 in Bankstown one midday.

Just looked at the fleet lists, looks like 2006 has indeed been transferred to Bankstown Airport; the first Volgren CR228L B7RLE over there since that depot lost 1978 and 1992 some time ago.

DEC 08 2018 EDIT: Okay, I'm going to take back what I've said and a double-check on 2006 may be needed, because a couple of times well after this M90 sighting, I've seen 2006 on the M92. Maybe that M90 stint was a temporary shift, or a depot helping out another, I don't know.

This morning on a short drive from Miranda to Caringbah and back I saw 6 Transdev buses in service four of whioch were ex Buslink units 6948, 6950, 6951 and 6981.
A check in the fleet lists showed a lot of changes on 24/7/2019 with all Buslink buses now allocated to other depots, a further number of withdrawn buses at Camellia and some other transfers between depots. http://fleetlists.busaustralia.com/comm ... atereq=tdv

Spotted this bus in the backyard of a home in Abermain (Near Cessnock) with a tarp thrown over the top of it.

M/O 8190 (BYD Volgren) doing a M92 today, shown on the disposal list as “withdrawn”. Driver said it was still allocated to South Granville. Photos can be provided for further proof if needed.
