Interline fleet changes

Post by Andrew »

I was going through the Interline fleetlist tonight after noting something today and found a few things that need to be fixed up - here's a start:

All exACTION Renaults except for 35 and 34 are now in the new livery. 34 and 35 remain in ACTION colours and in regular route service more than a year after being bought!

mo.9068 one of the three Volvo VSTs has been given fleet no. 8 - which was formerly on an ex ACTION Merc mo.7090. I am not sure of the fate of that Merc.

I will start compiling a list of the buses in new livery, the current list is a bit out of date.

Later in the day I saw mo.9069, the third Volvo VST and it didn't have a fleet number!

I'll add to this thread as I go.

Maybe ACTION Merc 8 is the unknown one that migrated north to Southern Cross Transit ?

Saw a new Interline VST at Volvo late last week, along with several Volvo B7RLE's with CC CB50HCL Body for Premier Illawarra.

3rd VST currently in Interline fleet mo.9069 has been given fleet no. 9 - which is an also an older series ex ACTION 305. A check of the depot revealed one 305 parked in a far corner without plates, but I couldn't get close enough to see which one it was (trying to solve mystery of which one or two went to QLD).

I visited Interline’s Depot, Macquarie Fields, Ingleburn and Minto this afternoon to confirm the livery of the fleet.

I was able to see almost all the fleet, missing only
#14 (which I think was parked near the front of the garage),
#24,
#35 (last noted in ACTION orange)
#87.

I saw old 7,9,10 – 7,9 and 10 were still registered and moved in the yard (may have been in school service).

#12 is in advertising livery for RAMS Home Loans.

The five new BusTech Volvo B12BLE covered the trunk service 870 from Glenfield to Macarthur Square.

Those in new (Blue front) livery were:
Volvo B12BLE - #7-11
Mercedes 0305 (ex Canberra) - #former 10 (rego m/o 7093), # 18, #20
Volvo B7RLE - #23
Volvo B10M - #24 (not seen but on fleet lists)
Renault PR.100.2 (ex Canberra) #28-33, #36-38

All other vehicles were in the white based Interline Livery, except for #34 in the orange ACTION livery.

All 5 Mercedes LO812 (#1-5) were in white, most with “Macarthur Mini” on the sides.

So of 41 in service vehicles, 19 were in the new blue front livery.

Any updates as seen would be great please.

It is sitting in the yard (can see #22 on it). I don't see it as roadworthy, even barely looks yardworthy!

Andrew is correct.

I saw a photograph of #14 (MAN 10.155/Volgren midi) in australianbus magazine with the new coloured front.

So that makes 20 in the new livery.

new for interline is m/o1979 - fleet No. 17 - another VST - sounded like a B12 this one - so not sure whether or not to confirm it as a B7 or B12....

Interline #34 ex Action is now repainted into the Interline Livery.

A plain white Mecerdes ex Macarthur Mini's branded bus has been seen used as a possible staff transfer vehicle as they have not seen service for 6months or more.
Waiting For The 873

Now tell me does that Bus come in a Male Version?

Yes I have seen them used for that purpose as well - often the drivers will tkae them down to Macathru Square for change over - I presume the same might happen at the Liverpool end...??

What a shame 34 has finally been painted - oh well, guess it had to happen sometime!

A new Bustech VST Volvo B7RLE has arrived.

Interestingly, its fleet number is also its m/o - being 5269. The fleet stickers are located on the rear and along the roofline of the bus towards the front. It has Mobitec LED desto.
