Scania N113 #115

What''s with the rear side window design on these buses? It seems like an overly complicated way of doing it, having windows that slide open, instead of the hopper-style along the rest of the bus. They rattle like buggery too. Apart from that, these buses are solid units, and seem built pretty well. Nice artistic shots outside the Cadbury factory!

is it just the way they show up in photos or do Metro use a low grade 'cheap' white paint?
they dont seem very 'shiny' or appear to have much gloss??? :?:

No really, they are quite simple. Just grab the latch, and slide. Say it after me.....grab and slide. :lol:

Only when they aren't jammed up with bits of paper to stop the rattles! :lol: Of course they aren't hard to use, but the hoppers are a simpler design, so designing something that to me is more complex than necessary seems odd. I assume there must have been some reason for it.

Have a look at the date of the original post... We've had a sever change since then, the pics may be deleted.
