BBL coaches invade the Nambour Rail/Bus Interchange

Postby davemail66 » Mon Dec 29, 2008 10:39 pm

I managed to take some photos today of Brisbane Bus Lines coaches meeting the QR Tilt train at Nambour station to take passengers on their final leg to Brisbane (Roma Street station) due to apparent track work south of Nambour.

5716 from SC Sunbus doing a route 636 was having a bit of trouble finding a safe spot to off-load and pick up passengers

QR's Railbus route 649 operated by Kangaroo Buslines (KBL45) manages to find a spot to pull in

Sunshine Coast Sunbus 5716 finally passes KBL45 to head back to the Sunshine Coast University at Sippy Downs

Nice Pics as always. Good to see a huge fleet of BBL vehicles blocking the place, even if it meant the regulars (KBL, Sunbus, Glasshouse/Cavglass, etc) couldnt get a spot.

And one thing that erks me a bit. It's University of the Sunshine Coast, some people still tend to refer it as Sunshine Coast University (college) although it hasnt been that name for a long time now.

Hi there

Was this taken in December 08 or earlier in November after the storms that raced through The Gap and Ashgrove?
