(SYD) Mosman Coaches DAF Articulated

Post by Ben O »

Mosman Coaches acquired this DAF MBG200 / Austral articulated bus from Nowra Coaches during last year. It hadn't been in service at Nowra for quite a while and was engineless, hence needed a lot of work before being put on the road. It was never registered after repaint, let alone sighted by most.

Several months after Mosman being sold to Hawkesfords, we see this bendy being driven down the Warringah Expressway on trade plates. Any ideas as to where it was heading?

Here are three photos of it being worked on at Terrey Hills, late last year:

Possibly the first and last photos of this rare beast in its 'Mosmanised'
Enjoy,

It certainly looks in very good condition compared to the way it was looking. Alot of hard work must have gone into that. Great photos too by the way!!

I'll keep an eye out for it here. I havent travelled on this bus since at least 1988 when it was out hard at work during Expo 88.

Brisbane is what I have heard! And probably for cash so as to hide it from creditors!
