Re: [Jan/Feb 2017] SA Transport observations

Not sure about that: I've seen them as I've been doing 190 up trips and have spotted that they're ex Darwin buses but haven't really looked at the livery. Remember a few years ago when we had many double blue and all-over white Ivecos (and 3 double blue Volvos) being used daily in regular service (...

The non-Admet coloured ones included? The beige ex Darwin buses seem to be a first though, that's what we're wondering :P

Re: [Jan/Feb 2017] SA Transport observations

1360 was out on a 196F today, so I guess it's no longer restricted to shuttle services despite not being in any AdMet livery. The 1350s are on J1s and other regular services regularly now, but seeing 1360 in the city was a new one for me. Perhaps this is an exception for the train sub period? We'll...

Re: Temporary partial Outer Harbor rail line closure

Torrens Transit are using all sorts on the subs. So far, I've seen - L94UB's, L94UA's, CB80's (artics too) and even SL202's :D They've sent SL202s out on train subs? I've checked loads of them just for the sake of it, but I've only found wheelchair accessible buses. I've spotted two of them as of y...

Re: Bus Simulator 16

Is there a demo version of this game so i can try before i buy??? Nah, and I wouldn't go wasting my time with it either. If you're after a bus simulator, go for OMSI 2. It ain't cheap, but it ain't expensive like games such as GTA V. DLC's come out fairly often too, and a London DLC has been announ...

Just did some searching, seems that the bus you saw belongs to 'B.G. McNamara, Corryong'.

The fleet lists can be found here. It is 1 of the 3 buses they have, all of which have Volgren 'SC222' bodies :)

Re: [Jan/Feb 2017] SA Transport observations

I know that, but normally in school holidays all buses not returning to depot go to Franklin Street, or occasionally the south parklands. Most of the buses that go to Mile End during school days are on school runs, hence my observation that it was unusual to see this during school holidays. Ahh I g...

Re: [Jan/Feb 2017] SA Transport observations

2 artics (including 3331) and a 14.5m bus from Hills depots are parked at Torrens Transit Mile End today. Strange for that to happen during school holidays. Hills Artics use Mile End(TT) depot during weekday off-peak hours to save buses returning to Aldgate Depot. That's what I thought. I remember ...

Re: 'Next stop - Clarendon Street'

Another nice round of photos, Hawkeye! And as soon as my internet is back I will post some of mine... I must say, I am a big fan of Torrens's programming of their Mobitech destos (like on 1388-1391, 1320-1324 etc), they are very clear and easy to read. Yep, can't agree more there. There's a few mor...

'Next stop - Clarendon Street'

Here we have some more shots from me! Certainly bringing up the numbers in the amount of pics in the Adelaide section recently, between myself and a few others. Among these shots, we take a trip down to Clarendon St and take a look at the many O-Bahn buses resting there. We also have some of the 14....
