Hi, Would anyone have any photos of Orana's as delivered in the early-mid 90's., or even under construction at Ansair that would be very much appreciated, prior to the days of leaving them a bit white here and there, one side repainted one not etc. I remember some media photos in the Rosny Bus Mall ...

Is there any plans to acquire 659 (presumably the last Ansair Bus to built in Tasmania) for preservation, as I suspect the Orana's are on a limited life span? I may be able to assist somehow, not sure how but I am keen to look at some possibilities.

If anyone is on the hunt or wants info for ex Metro Buses in their afterlife, there is a MK1 Volvo B10ML Arctic (couldn’t identify it) appears converted to a camper on Arthur Highway on a property at Dunalley, corner of Spotswood Road

Not so much a bus observation than a bus depot observation but a 20t Excavator has made light work of the former Metro Mornington Depot.

Apart from a little bit standing it’s a pile of rubble as of about lunch time today.

Two ex Metro Volvo B10M MkII Artics on Pass Road, Rokeby at the Vineyard. Parked back to back, one sporting a new graffiti style livery.

Just read in The Advocate about the awarding of the contract to build 100 buses for Metro has been awarded to Southern Propsects of Wynyard.

Didn't notice that the TFS had supplied pics as well on facey..... But MET 138 is the bus they will use for training.

Pictured in TasPol Facebook post today is an ex-Metro VOVI at the TFS training centre. Will endeavour to identify at the next opportunity.

MAN Midi (back end only, assuming in the 1 sec it caught my eye it is ex Metro) was seen parked in St Johns Avenue New Town on the left just near FSST Labs today. Forgot to look again after my visit to FSST to get anymore detail.

Does anyone have photos of buses under construction or just completed at the Ansair Kingston factory that could be posted here or in the photos section? Also if someone could enlighten me as to where the factory used to be that would be good. I recall seeing it as a kid but now can't place it. Cheer...
