Re: Parrahub and Sydney to Melbourne Maglev via Canberra
I tried putting the following into AI to video free to see what happened.
With a 30,000 space carpark below ground and a Japanese maglev to Melbourne via Canberra and Albury the Parrahub 5,000 units in the 300m diameter by 300m high would be the best value in Sydney.

Re: Trailerbus
In the new edition of Trailer magazine they are advertising AAA drop deck trailers for only $99.500 so making a Trailerbus could not be over $250,000 not including the prime mover of the another $250,000

Re: Trailerbus
I understand it is mostley caused by falling over.
The statasticion that said when it became law head injuries were reduced did not account for people stopping riding and dying with a heart attack instead.

Re: Trailerbus
slow riding has the same risk as walking. .. Having fallen off a bike at slightly faster than walking pace at the age of 11 or so, come off second best, and still bearing some marks to this day, I would dispute that opinion. It was just as well for me that it happened on the footpath.... In Amsterd...

Evidently the catchment area for the first and last mile has proven far greater in Philadelphia and San Francisco when buses and trains take bikes. https://www.academia.edu/5805222/Perceptions_of_Bicycle_Friendly_Policy_Impacts_on_Accessibility_to_Transit_Services_The_First_and_Last_Mile_Bridge?emai...

Re: Parrahub and Sydney to Melbourne Maglev via Canberra
To enable Snowy 2 to put the HVDC cables directly below the Parrahub to Melbourne via Canberra and Albury tunnel it must be started now to avoid expensive overhead transmission.

Re: Faster Trains to link Canberra and Sydney
At present Australia has the chance to connect Sydney to Melbourne via Canberra and Albury with a proven Japanese SC maglev but as it has never been done before most people want to use last century rails so we will be stuck with trucks and planes like China and America. As we are a democracy governm...

Re: New tax in place of compulsury super
Watching tax reform on National press club Australia but they never said about stopping compulsory super with an extra 10% tax that can be spent in Australia where super funds want to buying more coal mines or going overseas. True governments have not got a good track record but there is a balance w...

Re: Trailerbus
We can change the law to be like most of the world as slow riding has the same risk as walking.
The stastastician who said making it mandatory did not account for the fact people just gave up riding and used a car instead.

China claims 623 km/h maglev train but I cannot see how with only 1 cm clearance. https://www.iflscience.com/chinas-hyperloop-breaks-own-speed-record-hitting-over-623-kilometers-per-hour-72860 I put on the Maglev forum that it is hard to believe the China claim of 623 km/h train. https://www.maglev...

Re: Parrahub and Sydney to Melbourne Maglev via Canberra
After watching this video perhaps bricks and mortar are making a comeback particularly if shops can have consignment stock that is delivered cheaply in trucks rather than many people just existing delivering to the door. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNktc1Ppi6A This would be good for Parrahub wit...

My brother had 5 hybrids and if I ever bought a car it would be a hybrid not full electric. Both America and Australia are buying ICE cars because that is what most people want and keep using the cheap fuel we are using because Aussies are broke. A guy of Indian appearance pulled into Kincumber vil...

Re: Trailerbus
I am amazed how fast slow biking is compared to slow walking because most nights I can easily go a few kilometers in half an hour where I may not even be able to walk that far so getting rid of the school buses and keeping kids fit riding to school is a no brainer in my opinion but you have to allow...

Funny that GM scrambled to remove their promising electric cars from circulation in the 1990s - see Who Killed The Electric car, and now the world is pushing them on us. Both scenarios smack of a sinister plot by corporates to screw everybody over. My brother had 5 hybrids and if I ever bought a ca...

Whatever they get it must take bikes in my opinion. They might be looking for something that takes bikes as all the roads and car parks are full there.
