Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2020

Yes, I believe they are postponed. 2894 has been the newest rigid and 1652 has been the newest artic for a month or so now. Enth guide to BT lists that up to 2900 will be delivered and up to 1660, but I haven't seen anything newer than 2894. Anyway, they should be opening up shop again as the restri...

Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2020

S1651 is on Route 111 today. 15:22 & 16:37 Departure from Roma Street and 16:00 Departure from 8 Mile Plains. A questionable decision, tho, as all the buses I've seen are less than 20% full. Is the demand really high enough for artics to be used at this point in time? I guess most people (including...

I think 1651 will be going to E, as that's where the rigid gliders are going

Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2020

Also with the Brisbane Transport Database (brisbanetransport.info) does anybody know how to submit photos there as I have quite a few pics of B8's and a lot of others that could use some changing as they are all from early 2010's? Just send them the photos in the 'Contact Us' section, although I've...

Does anyone know the contract for the B8s? Does anyone know the exact number of b8s will be delivered?

Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2020

Well practically all routes are like that, they get popular at peak times and at other times of the day they are practically empty because everyone is at work

Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2020

I know just about all of the high 12s and low 13s have them, but I rely on Toowong buses so I don't know about the other depots.

Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2020

2873 is also now in AoA for Mt Cootha Free Shuttle. Another problem currently with BT is that the western depots have a significantly higher average age of buses than the northern and eastern suburbs. And also, East and North depots (Virginia and Eagle Farm) have an all-Optimus fleet, while the buse...

I'm not sure, but they do have a sign stating 'Non Compliance' with the CNG standard. Although I don't think this is affecting their withdrawal

Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2019

1297 now at G
1277 still in service
1247 withdrawn

I believe 2878 and 2879 are currently being used for the 4KQ Christmas Lights Tours.
