just wondering what is happening at Howards. In the fleet list changes, they have just bought 4 CDC buses. Does anyone know their intentions? Does anyone know if old 153 from Singo will be returning to service??

No white at Singo now, unless you count 2453 which was withdrawn this week in the fleet lists. 2457 is CY.

Totally agree that it looked better in the Perrett's livery. The unfortunate side is that it got painted. Considering all the paint jobs it could have got, i think it looks pretty good.

Was in Tam the other day and saw the newly painted ex Perretts Scania L94UB now based in Tamworth. Doesn't look too bad.

HVB thornton have started to roll out the new plates. Mostly the 1830 mercs but did see a few older buses changed while there on friday. Noticed 0094 is now 3559 MO. Most of the 1830's have had the plate numbers removed from the roof line.

Almost a sad day at the Singleton Depot as the final bedford has moved on to be sold. 7041 is listed for Sale with Omnibus for $3300. For a depot that was almost half bedford it is sad to see the last one go out into the big blue yonda.. Hunter Valley Buses have 7 Bedfords and 2 Leylands for sale at...

In the area on the weekend, most of the references to Perrett's are gone. They still have the big Perrett's Coach Service sign on the back of the old shed. But good to see John is still there.
