Late last year traveling back from Hobart to Launceston. Just north of Symonds Plains raceway I came across this (one of a few on that stretch). Luckily I was in my Hilux with wide tyres so it wasn't bad for me ... But the lady behind wasn't so lucky ... I heard the crunch from my ute as she hit it ...

It'll be either a 14" or 15.5" Eaton/Spicer set up ... Any heavy vehicle mechanic can source what you need ... They are a very standard clutch for most US built drivelines

Well... As one of the few Kenworth historians in Australia... I've just had a look in the "bible" but there are quite a few chassis numbers around this time in the list that have no info against them... And this is one of them... Only way to go is take the chassis number to your local KW d...

Thanks guys... Just finished chatting with Neil and it looks like I will be able to share the story with more people than I had ever hoped to.
