Re: WA Bus Observations 2024
Throwaway joke... might need to clean up the glasses, and/or be 100% sure that you're reading the fleet numbers correctly. Much more likely to have been 2611 and 2612 that you saw. Again, as Off the Rails has said: pictures or else it didn't happen, , especially given that (1) nobody else has seen i...

Re: WA Transport General Discussion & Questions
Since last week, there's been two pairs of A-Series sets (i.e. 2x 4-car sets) assisting running peak-hour W shuttles on the Joondalup and Mandurah lines. I'll hazard a guess that this is just to keep their wheels turning during a period of reduced rollingstock demand, but someone in the know would b...

Re: PTA / Transperth Service Changes 2024
It appears that the upgrades to the Guildford Rd services have been brought forward, to operate from the completion of the bus link road at Bayswater as opposed to waiting for the Ellenbrok Line to open - however, they still seem set to open the Ellenbrook line "later this year." Bayswater...

Is that true that 1771 is now at midvale does this mean some of the NHs in Busselton will be retired and replaced with 21xx future buses from Wangara and OC Diesels from Albany Yes, it's true that 1771 is at Midvale - because a reliable source has observed it. I'm not sure what you're getting at wi...

Re: WA Bus Observations 2024
With a claim as brazen and statistically impossible as that, the general ruling is “photos or it didn’t happen.” Along with that, given your track record of unsupported, debunked, and misleading “observations,” Zidane wasn’t completely in the wrong to call you out in that way. If this is counted as ...

Re: Next generation railcars for Transperth
C-Series set 130 has been daylight testing between Whitfords and Cockburn over the past two weeks or so, stopping at every station and opening doors opposite from the platform so nobody gets on. Has caused some confusion and head turns on the platform, but other than the squeaky brakes (which are me...

Thanks for the clarification TP1462 , I'd posted based on a quick clip on the news as the only information I had. Re: Next generation railcars for Transperth
Morning all, I had time to kill yesterday, so I scoped out the LXR works up to Cannington (might talk about that in the appropriate thread). On the way back, I took the 51 down Graham Farmer, to be met with a pleasant surprise at Claisebrook: the fourth C-Series unit, set 130, was sitting in the sto...

Re: Torrens Transit Bustech artics.
Nice pictures, shame about the livery... I'd also like to see the interiors, are they low-floor until the rear-most door, or already raised through the turntable as in the Custom CB60/Evo II/CB80 combo artics? The windowline suggests that the latter is the case, but this is Bustech we're talking abo...

2559 is the first B7 to receive new SCVs, bringing the total number of buses with new SCVs to 18 (accounting for about a third of Beenyup's fleet).

RE: my previous listing above…
Transperth have since gone ahead and put the new SCVs on more than the 10 initially stated to be trialled. Most Beenyup B8s appear to have them installed, apart from 3201, 3203-06, 3209-10, and 3213-16, although may receive them in the coming month anyway.
