Re: WA Bus Observations 2024
With a claim as brazen and statistically impossible as that, the general ruling is “photos or it didn’t happen.” Along with that, given your track record of unsupported, debunked, and misleading “observations,” Zidane wasn’t completely in the wrong to call you out in that way. If this is counted as ...

Re: Next generation railcars for Transperth
C-Series set 130 has been daylight testing between Whitfords and Cockburn over the past two weeks or so, stopping at every station and opening doors opposite from the platform so nobody gets on. Has caused some confusion and head turns on the platform, but other than the squeaky brakes (which are me...

This is an issue I've noticed for a while but kept forgetting to make a post about  I also haven't received any emails regarding new posts in subscribed topics and/or forums for a few months now. Looking through my inbox, it seems like the last email notification I received was back in August ...

Thanks for the clarification TP1462 , I'd posted based on a quick clip on the news as the only information I had. As far as I can tell, 2x 4-car sets on Whitfords-Cockburn W shuttles, after 2 B-Series sets somehow made it onto the Victoria Park shuttle.

Re: Next generation railcars for Transperth
Morning all, I had time to kill yesterday, so I scoped out the LXR works up to Cannington (might talk about that in the appropriate thread). On the way back, I took the 51 down Graham Farmer, to be met with a pleasant surprise at Claisebrook: the fourth C-Series unit, set 130, was sitting in the sto...

Re: Torrens Transit Bustech artics.
Nice pictures, shame about the livery... I'd also like to see the interiors, are they low-floor until the rear-most door, or already raised through the turntable as in the Custom CB60/Evo II/CB80 combo artics? The windowline suggests that the latter is the case, but this is Bustech we're talking abo...

RE: my previous listing above…
Transperth have since gone ahead and put the new SCVs on more than the 10 initially stated to be trialled. Most Beenyup B8s appear to have them installed, apart from 3201, 3203-06, 3209-10, and 3213-16, although may receive them in the coming month anyway.

3117 appears to have moved to Beenyup, also getting new SmartRider validators. A few other 3200s have been observed with new SCVs as well, they've been added to the list in the SmartRider upgrade thread, accounting for a total of 9 (out of 10 to be trialled).
