Re: Headway Services

I’ve seen a handful of Transit Systems B7 volvos in region 3 with “Headway” in red font on the windscreen above the driver. But these particular buses aren’t always on the T80. I was wondering what they were all about and was happy when I stumbled across this thread.

Urbos 3 Trams: Sydney

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have any interior dashboard photos or links to any interior dashboard photos of the Urbos 3 trams used on the L1 between Central and Dulwich Hill?

Would be much appreciated.

TIA,

Chris

2 axles v 3 axles

Just a quick one for those who've moved up from driving 2 axle buses to 3 axle buses/ coaches.
What are the main differences driving wise? Do the 3 axles make it easier or harder?

Re: Balmain East 442/445 Terminus

I've seen a bus try to turn around in there while cars were illegally parked. That didn't seem like the easiest of manoeuvres to perform. I've also read stories (can't remember if it was here or in a facebook group) where buses made it to the wharf and couldn't engage reverse gear to make the 3 poin...

Re: Kingsgrove Bus Co artic

just a quick question about something I've always wondered in cases like this. If the bus has been repowered from a Leyland to an MAN, does that legally mean that it's no longer a Leyland and the rego sticker / paperwork would be changed to MAN?

Just curious.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Shorter buses coming to Sydney

The routes these buses will be used on are not likely to suffer from overcrowding problems. Until, as is quite possible, they end upon the 333 or an m service That's a great point. If I seem to remember correctly, while STA were trialling one of these smaller buses a few months ago, it somehow was ...

Re: Fairfield Interchange near completion

It is certainly a better looking interchange than was the old rat infested obstacle course. Only concerns that I have heard so far would be the poles that buses have been side swiping when pulling out of the pick up ranks. I'd be interested to know which bus routes are going to use them street side ...

Thankyou for your compliments. I think i read it in another thread. Parramatta City Council owns the buses and Veolia supply the driver. The buses have Villawood accreditation.
