Re: leyland 680 compressor

Bus has been sitting for six months and I'm told the oil may have gunked up one of the valves possibly. I thought I might just replace the top end of the compressor to at least try and eliminate the...

Re: Are city sightseeing Melbourne deckers repowered?
Thanks for that info Burrumbus. That is interesting. So that means they had no problems with ADRs in VIC? These buses were all pre 1989 so would have been plated with the ADRs from their year of manufacture? (not 2012)? Im wondering if thats the case in NSW. Is anybody familiar with this please? I a...

Re: Atlantean GVM
Yep thats crazy!
Dont ever want to be involved in that!
You are right what am I complaining about?
I guess I am just annoyed because it is a privately owned collectors item that (because it has all its original seats is still classed as a 'public passenger vehicle') Thats what annoys me!

Well after investigation it doesnt matter about the GVM! Any bus no matter what the use if it has more than 10 seats HAS to go to the RMS for a HVIS (not HVIAS) inspection every year :( So I will just have to go at the ungodly hour of 5.50am on a day when I needed to be elsewhere because I dont have...
