Re: Working for Ventura
Thanks for that :) I emailed them and they replied very quickly... that the recruitment round ended on April 6th, but they would keep my resume on file. I am going to start polling companies in QLD (my preferred destination) to see if I can get one to sponsor me there, and keep up contact with Ventu...

Re: Working for Ventura
Okay, as said in my other threads, I am a Brit, not Irish... but I am interested in trying to see if they would take me on. I am a single guy, no wife, no kids so I would be a mug not to at least ask. Does anyone have any contact details I could have to start my enquiries? I'd be really grateful if ...

Re: Any room for a Brit in Brizzie?
Ah, top o' the mornin to ya. I would expect to be beaten with shillelaghs if I tried that! It appears that Australia has a curious mix of private operators in some areas, and government-owned transit systems in others. I am a non-drinker, non-smoker, never even seen a dodgy drug in my life, single guy with no kids. Bo...

Re: English drivers wanted?
Right cheers, I will look into that!
My main reason for wanting to go to Brizzie is because my main contacts are there. But if I have to contract for a couple of years in another city to get my citizenship, that is an option I would certainly look into.

English drivers wanted?
G'day mates! I am an experienced bus driver here in sunny(!) Stoke-on-Trent, England, with nearly 16 years professional driving under my belt. I currently work for First PLC which is a fine company to work for... However, I am starting to consider moving to Australia (preferable Brisbane) to drive o...
