When I rode the Explorer back from Broken Hill recently it had those covers fitted. They protect the coupling device in case of an animal strike.

Went past 772 Mamre Road, Kemps Creek this afternoon. Parked on the property were approx 12 white buses and coaches, couldn't identify any of them from the road.

If it is anything like the handover of regions 1 and 3 from CDC to Busways and TSA respectively - any bus built after a certain date had to be handed over with the contract. (I forget the actual date I am sorry). This way depots about to be taken over cannot be flooded with old buses. Any bus built ...

The contracts for planned trackwork buses is 25 years of age, with an average age per closedown of 12 years. HOWEVER on emergency rail, there is no limit as this work is unplanned and most times at an inconvenient hour.

Loaded steel train had axle issues on the freight line, somewhere around Minto I believe. All freights diverted to main lines.

Also spotted 2 M-Benz demo units with BM Transit - at Valley Heights is all white Volgren Optimus M-Benz rego CH55NL, seen in the depot and on route service. Spotted today at Katoomba depot is a M-Benz Sprinter all white and low entry door, blank desto. Also on private plates but haven't downloaded...

In the first photo I was parked waiting instructions as to where to park it. The 2nd photo shows it parked where I was instructed. SOPA like that bus because it is the right length fopr where they need it.
